not to rain on anyone's parade, but i talkd to brad today, and there was a snag. one of the bends wasn't right, so they took it to a muffler shop or something to fix it. hopefully that little tidbit gets back before all the production models are made. hopefully this won't put too long of a delay. jeez, first the gen1 euros are missing in action, then KORE has a delay on their catbacks, now this? i have the worst luck. frown

complaining about the SR CAI not coming out is getting pretty old, it seems every week another post *SR CAI* post is started, all this complaining can't really help anything, just forget about it then one day Yam will post something about it being finished or send a mail to all the members, and then everyone will be happy thats its *finally* here... anyone who plays video games know that release day dates are always delayed (I know, video games are different from CAI's but its just an analogy)... thanks for reading my post...

SuperGLS is so right it hurts... (I guess he owned a Nintendo 64 wink )

A CAI is good for 10 HP at most, if you absolutely NEED 10 HP buy cams and you'll be close. Shark Racing has the injen for sale too, so buy if it you absolutely can not wait. wink

The injen isn't MAP though is it? I've been lokking everywhere for a MAP CAI and the only one I can find is the AOS which doesn't look the *C* part of the CAI. What are we MAP people supposed to do? Let us moan and complain, it's all we have left...sob...sob...sob. J/K

C'mon guys! Cheer up! I for one am very happy that SR is taking their time to make sure we get the absolute best product! They've taken the time to do the research and testing and I'm sure nobody will be disappointed. I am very happy with everything I've gotten from them so far and I'm sure this will be of the same quality.
If you can't wait, just buy a cone filter and strap it on for now, or just put yourself together a Random Special...it's a great learning experience and will get you ready for the SR version since I heard in some other thread awhile ago it was modeled after it anyways.

I agree, SR isn't going to hide the fact that their CAI is finished, they're going to post/email/wave/hoot/holla as soon as its done, if your worried about the release date then contact SR and i'm sure they'll get back to you with a resonable answer wink

otherwise, topic closed.
