Default Spark Plugs and Wires

Just wondering what y'all have under your hoods or would recommend for plugs and wires for the best performance and hottest spark?

There are all kinds of different brands/products -I'm currently running Bosch wires (7mm) w/ 2X platinum plugs. I plan on getting some 8mm wires (NGK or Magnacore) & sticking with the same plugs or 4X platinum plugs. Hope this helps ya out.

I'm just running some regular denso plugs.
The wires on the other hand are APC's 9.3mm
It was a tight fit under the cover, but it worked without me having to modify it in any way.
As far as performance...lets just say that she runs good all the time. Before the wires i would get a hesitation from time to time..nothing major..and not that often. Now with the larger wires...she is constantly getting a good spark. All in all...I'm happy with them. By the way, the plugs were for a civic/integra application, but I just matched up the length as close as possible at the store and they fit and look great.

MagnaCore wires (I had to give the SR wires back! *pout*)and NGK V-Copper SparkPlugs.

I do reccomend you do a search on sparkplugs. There have been several different debates on Platinum vs Copper vs Iridium.

From what I have uncovered so far is that most prefer the NGKS, as do I. The Titaniums caused a few people some problems . I have not heard anything about the Iridiums. I will look into those some more. Denso a good brand?
Thanks for all your help so far.

i have NGK BKR6E-11 and 80HP nitrous system.

i have NEW STOCK wires....

i like them alot smile.gif

my factory stock wires cracked with the heat and they were grounding out the spark.. i was loosing fuel economy and i didnt know why.. then i pulled them out, the # 4 was cracked up... so i got new wires... and everything works great now smile.gif ... this happened way before i installed the wet nitrous system.

the plugs i'm running are one stage colder.. for use with nitrous. and they foul up a bit.. i change them every oil change because it is recommended that they be changed when you use nitrous. specially since i use 4 bottles or more a month. smile.gif

the sock plugs should be BKR5E-11

You and you nitrous! I'd like to see your car race sometime.

I went out and bought some NGK v-Power Copper Core plugs and managed to land some OBX Racing 10.3mm wires off eBay for $50.
We'll see how these do for now.
