Spark Plug Gap

I picked up a new set of plugs and wires today and I was wondering what you guys keep your gaps set at?

^ could bear some explanation!

I seem to recall keeping mine at 1mm, per specification for a STOCK NON-TURBO engine with NO problems blowing the flame out!
