I just installed my GT Headers and boy oh boy do I need a slimline fan. Where can I find one? I did a search under slimline fans on here it returned nothing for me. Anybody know where to go for one or what I would need to know in order get one? Would I just say it's for a 2000 Tib or will I need the dimensions(what are they if I need them)?

the flex-a-lite fan is awesome! buy it! laugh.gif you will have to make your own brackets or modify the ones that come with the fan because they won't work how they are. but you can figure out something and get the fan to hook up and when you do, you'll be happy. laugh.gif trust me

It comes with poke thru ties. The tie from the front side of the radiater to the back side of the fan. They're like tiestraps, but don't circle around. You'll have no problem mounting it.

What exactly are 'Slimline Fans'?

Do they significantly cool the engine bay? (Especially with those racing headers I'm waiting to install)

well mainly they are to allow for more room in the engine bay. but if they move more cfm than stock i guess they'd keep things cooler (i think most will)

Ah, I'll have to see how much room I have after I install my 4-2-1s...

I'm going to take pics.. a comparison of the stock headers and the OBX racing headers.

Ugh, those stock headers have GOT to go. They are in dear need of more air flow - you can just SEE it.
