Default SlimLine Fans

For anyone out there who has the Flex-A-Lite 220 dual puller fans installed can you please post up some pics and info on how you have these suckers mounted? They are giving me a hell of a time. I can get them put in but am not sure how we mount them up.

You'll have to fab up some custom mounts, or you'll have to use the "ties" that push plastic rods through the radiator fins and secure to the "front" side of the radiator. For my install, I cut/altered some bits of plastic I had leftover from another project/item. They weren't purdy, but they worked. If you want "show" quality, you'll have to either get something made, or bend your own metal. If you want "quick n dirty" just bits of 90 degree plastic/metal will work for the top mounts and flat plastic/metal will work for the side mounts. I didn't put anything on the bottom, as the fan rests on the bottom "ledge" of the radiator fin section.

I'll have my tib photos up/online soon, and you can peruse those, or drop me and email and I can email ya what I've got.

Yeah I thought about doing that...... But the amount of torque the car has I would be parinoid that it would rip out through the radiator. I have gotten some 1/8" think 1"x8" pieces of stainless that I am going to make brackets out of. Thanks for the info tho.
