skid plates

I'm thinking about making a skid plate, as I daily drive my boosted tib with a 4 inch drop.... I'm going to use sheet metal but I'm not completely sure what to do. Suggestions? Or has anyone done this before?

I recommend lifting it about 2 inches

sheet metal for a skid plate? how will that help? it will get worn through faster than a thai hookers panties..

4" drop, how about lifting the car up..

The street trucker guys weld a few pieces of chromoly to be the lowest part of the vehicle

It's strong and decently cheap

Yeah I would go with a few pieces of like 1/8" flat bar that is at least 1" wide and fab them into skid plate bars.
