Default Shark Racing intake getting closer? anyone still waiting for it?

If you havent taken a look sharkracing updated the CAI part of the site. they were supposed to come out the first week of Dec. but it looks like its mid Dec now.

But now they have pics of the prototypes up and it finally looks as tho they will finally come out.

So how many of you are still waiting for it? i almost bought a AEM and a Injen intake but now its seems like the wait is finally almost over so im prolly gonna buy a Shark Racing one.

anyone else gonna buy one?

i think most of the people have cancelled their orders and bought other intakes... which is a shame cuz not many people are gonna switch and since the intakes are for beta motors most people who have beta motors have already gotten their intakes.... so well i think SR missed their window

You're telling me. I've had about 10 people ask me about how to contact the BBB about SR's business practices of late. The entire thing with the Euros for first Gens, and the CAI are silly.

That thing looks downright terrible. Prototype or not, I'd be ashamed to even post those pics.

I hope for their own sake they paint them in a full gloss paint rather than that semi-gloss thing they have happening now.
With access to welding equipment, I could make that myself.
I wouldn't pay $120 USD for it, that's for sure. frown

Is anybody actually reading that page? It states that those are pictures of the prototypes. Those are whats used to make the production model. Its a one off welded unit. As the page mentions, the finished units will be high quality stuff. You wont be able to tell much of a difference between ours and ones like AEM and Injen. Thats because were even using the same factory as where some of those are made...
