Default Remap and Tune your stock ECU

My friend just got back from Italy from training and has become a certified dealer for DimSports. They deal with our cars and have software to remap our ECU's. At the moment my friend is the only one in North America that does what they do over there. He took my extra ECU to Milan and now it has the chip installed, ready for remapping and tuning.
Although I've decided I will mod my other ECU as well to see what I can get out of it. I have an Auto right now and the one in Milan is for a Manual Tranny.

Here are some pics of what he can edit so far and which cars he can edit. This will change once we start working on my car. Sorry about the picture size.

Sounds nice, but we have a few issues.

1. ODBII. I don't think they have that in Europe.

2. Emissions. Will we pass emissions after he's done?

1.Let me try and think of a way to answer your first question

2.Yes it will pass emissions because he can change the high and lows to whatever he needs.

1. I didn't mean does he hook it up thru the ODBII, I meant will our ODBII still WORK afterwords? If not, I would fail emissions here. And most of the US is going to require ODBII Emissions testing VERY SOON.

2. Okay, but we can't pass emissions in many areas if the ODBII doesn't work and throw the right #'s.

Well I did a Little digging and this is for the CRDi Hyundai Engines which are Diesel engines. Not going to work on our cars.

Here is the application list for the ODB tuning:

My ECU was taken over there and they have it all figured out. It's going to be sent back in about 3 weeks. Since I don't know much about this I will just get all the info from my friend when we start working on it.

So if you don't care, don't pay attention retard.

And yes, everyone WILL start to care soon, Emissions are becoming a VERY big deal around the world.
