OK, I'ved searched and haven't found anything new from REDZMAN's Teaser topic back on December 17th. Did he ever spill the beans on what his cheap OEM mod was? I guess this could be directed right to REDZ. When you gonna let us know what this mod was? Ever get it dyno'd? Or were you planning on waiting to dyno your car till after you installed your 1.8L cam? Just waiting for an update man! laugh.gif

Umm pretty sure the mod was the 1.8 ECU .. The non Rev A Version ..

hmm.. 1.8 ecu.. i have a revision 1.8 ... can i swap a 1.8 or 2.0 in mine?

Well, REDZ never really confirmed it was the 1.8L ECU. That's just what everybody thought it was. And for $19? You can get the 1.8L ECU for $19? If this was the mod we need to get some dyno results. If there is actually a gain, I'll definately be looking into picking one up.

a 1.8L ecu from a 97-98 elantra i believe, NOT the tranny ECU.
i'm getting mine soon.
