Default To produce madd boost, you need...

Turbo!

T3 exhaust housing, "stage 3" (huh?) cartridge, T04E-11 compressor housing. 0.63AR, 400WHP+ capable

Tial 40mm external wastegate

John Urist (read: Top 4 contender in NHRA with his 7-second outlaw-class Mustang ) is making my tubular turbo manifold! F*CK YEAH! Have an appointment TOMORROW at his shop here in Albuquerque!

Wanna guess the prices on this setup? You might be suprised...

Well. Excluding install. I'd say maybe 1500+? I'm pretty sure if u got hook ups...it'd be less. And..if u don't...depending on where u are and what country maybe more.

Let's see

Big turbo
Custom bend exhaust manifold
Wastegate

That leaves... intercooler, ECU and fuel injectors.

Sounds like its getting close.

Good luck

I already have a starter intercooler, 13x9x3 but it's probably gonna get replaced. The ECU is being worked on, and the injectors -- hey do you have a good place to get inexpensive injectors? I'm gonna shell out $750 to RC Engineering for a set of 720cc's that fit our car. Does ANYONE else make a good set for less? NipponDenso? MSD?

Turbo and wastegate were a steal at a little less than $1100 for brand new parts (ah, friends are good wink.gif ) The manifold is gonna cost a bit, but not bad... They're thinking around $500-$550 for a good unit.

We are indeed getting close, but we still aren't gonna boost until at least late Februrary.

keep us updated on it red! some of us also want to make our car mad fast...

i know some fools will do it all on credit but i'm not one of them...so i have to get the money together up front...so it takes longer...which is cool cuz it gives me time to learn more before i make any purchases....

I made the decision to do it ALL in cash for a very simple reason: if it blows up into 1,000,000 little pieces, I'm not paying for a non-existant engine for the next three years! tongue.gif

There's a big difference between things you SHOULD put on credit and things you should NOT. Hobbies don't go on credit, everyday life emergencies do smile.gif
