Prices for Pauter Rods and Pistons
I asked for 2000 Tiburon:
Rods: $720 (they have a set in stock)
Forged Pistons: kits which start at $540.00 and are custom made to your desired bore diameter and compresion ratio.

Hmmm... Crower is around $40 cheaper on the rods; Ross is $10 more on the pistons/pins/rings combo. Only difference is, Crower doesn't generally keep Hyundai stock around.
Ross does the same thing as Pauter on the pistons tho -- you specify the overbore (if any) and compression change you want, they make them to your spec.

Yeah..i was suprised on the price for the rods...
i had to just edit this alittle..i read your last paragraph has a question and not a statement...
