Po134 o2 sensor 1......
Is was the code that my car gave.....
Po134 sensor 1.... no activity detected o2 sensor 1... I looked in the webtech but i couldnt find something that tells me how can be repaired. I dont know if the sensor is bad or if the wiring is the one bad. what do you say? thanks |
look harder...
www.hmaservice.com/webtech enter vehicle info... click OBDII tab.... click "Fuel System" to get sub-menu... scroll down to P0134 - Oxygen Sensor Circuit Inactive you need a new Bosch FRONT oxygen sensor (the primary) check webtech for details of problem and parts number, etc. I'd post the pics over here but they're too big....Webtech > you |
yes i just could find the po134 and says:
P0134 O2 sensor circuit no activity detected Do i need a new sensor 1 ? there is nothing to repair it? |
well.. no activity means one of two things.. either the wires to it are shorted someplace.. or the sensor is bad. As the wires are made to survive the heat of the exhaust system, my bet is on the sensor going bad. They do not live forever and do an slow decline as they age until eventually dying.
How many miles on your car? |
ok... thanks for you opinion.... i think that too. My car has 60350 miles on it. i going to check the wires if there is someplace bad, if I cant find anything i will have to buy a new one!..
Someone knows where can i buy this sensor for a reasonable price? thanks |
Just shop around. I found an O2 sensor at O'Reilys for over $120 in my town. I then went out of town (30 miles) and found the exact same O2 senor at another O'Reilys for $59!! Go figure
|
that is bad luck!..lol
well i just looked for anything wrong, and I found that the wires from the sensor has some extra wire , does this afect some way? do you have the webpage where you bought that sensor for $59?? why did you have to replace yours? thanks |
