jon, where do i get said magnetic plug with seal?
Ebay has them for like 15$. I don't know if you can find them locally.
Ebay Magnetic Plug You can get the crush washers at your local auto shop. I think they come in like a pack of two. I have a magnetic plug with the crush washers, as my POS plug did not come with any kind of seal. |
They come stock with no seal.
My Tib I bought with 7k miles had no seal on it, this Tib has no seal, and a brand new oil pan I got had no seal. |
they usually stick to the oil pan pretty firmly when you change your oil, and i wouldnt expect them to come with an oil pan.
Go to your local dealership and pick up an oil plug gasket. It's a little soft metal ring. I get a new one everytime I change my oil. it costs about 75 cents. Some dealerships will just give it to you cause it's so cheap and they have tons.

You can get them at every single auto parts store. I use a copper one, no leaks.
