Valvoline Maxlife synthetic blend or full synthetic are both good oils with good additive packs. And yes, high-mileage oils do work. I'm trying to track down some Schaeffer's 5w-30 for my next oil change. It might be expensive, but this car has to last me a long time.

Hmm, I Think im gonna try a high mileage synthetic. That sounds like it would work best. both mobil 1 and valvoline have it.

Amsoil outperforms mobil 1 in almost all areas. It was also the first synthetic, despite what many people think. I can say from switching to amsoil from mobil 1 my car idles a lot smoother and my oil pressure seems to stay more consistent then with mobil 1. fing02.gif
