Hey has anyone replaced their plug wires. Most of my friends have replaced their cars(non-tiburons)with Nology hot-wires. They make them for the tiburon. Each one has a ground though. has anyone tried these with that sparkplug cover.
Any info would be great
Thanks

If you want to pay 200 dollars for a set of plug wires...be my guest. As I have learned and as many other people have said, spark plugs, and wires will add nothing to performance. Yes nology has some kind of capacitor or some sh*t...but paying 200 bucks for it? Personally I couldn't justify it...
Oh ya...and anything 8.5mm+ you will have to remove the wire covering (or whatever the hell it is)...just to answer your question...

I've got a set for the beta. Make me an offer. The suck and are complete crap. Nology will not take them back. That should tell you how bad they are.
Check with the better business bureau, you will find they have many complaints against them for their business practices...

Hey Random thanks for the info--i guess i won't get them know. Do you recommend anything else? Why don't they work? Did they fight under the plastic cover.
Thanks
Thanks
I know that Random had a deluge of issues with those wires, the least of which was the fitment of wires that were like 8" too long.
In any case, the "best" wires for a stock car are likely the STOCK wires. If you're running an aftermarket ignition system OR you've broken/damaged one of the stockers and want an upgraded set, buy a set of either Magnecor or NGK wires. These are simple, they work VERY well, and they aren't $200 a set.
Pay close attention to what was stated above: Spark Plug Wires do NOT increase performance.

The benefit of aftermarket wires.
#1. Looks pretty, and people can claim that have a "engine mod".
#2. Stock wires sometimes go bad with age, aftermarket wires are usually higher quality, so you decrease the chances of sparkplug wire related problems.
#3. Aftermarket wires usually have better shielding, so there will not be interfearance with high powered aftermarket stereo's.
