New Intake for my Kia Sephia

I am dropping my car off at the shop on Tuesday to get a custome intake made. I am paying a whopping $75 for this guy to make me one. I will get back with all you Kia driver's after it is done! smile.gif

By the way, that includes the K & N airfilter...

That is a sweet price. Make sure the put the filter in the fenderwell, not in the engine bay!

Thanx in advance.

I will let you know how it goes tomorrow evening. I have never had my car dyno'd and there is no place around here anyways so, it will be my judgment on the performance increase I guess. I will try to get pictures up as well.

Ok, I got the intake done. Basically what the guy did was remove my factory air box and install a cone filter on the factory ducting. He drilled a hole on the bottom of the larger end of the filter to stick the air temp probe in (I think that's what it is) and then he made a bracket to give the ducting a little more stability. I think it sounds a lot better and it seems to have more pick up to it. Granted it's not as cool looking as one of the aluminum duct ones, but it is a start and it looks alot better than stock.
