you should get new gaskets unless the old ones came off in PERFECT condition, regardless of what gasket you are talking about.

I've removed/reinstalled my IM about 5 times. Never had a problem re-using the stock IM gasket. It's damn durable and really doesn't go through much stress. It should last the life of the engine.

If you REALLY want to replace it, you can. No harm in a nice new gasket.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'>if you could tell me how u took it out wihtout breaking it i would appricate it</div>I just unbolted the IM and it fell away clean, leaving the gasket stuck to the block. I wiped the gasket down with a fairly clean cloth before I bolted it back up, but never even tried to peel
it off.

I suppose that if it doesn't come off to clean, you'll want to peel it off the IM carefully. Use something like a drywall spatula or thin chisel or knife if you have to, just scrape it off the surface carefully.

Good luck smile.gif
