do you get a cel? when my wires when out i did, but i was on a decently long trip (3 hours i think) and it happened after like 2.5 hours of driving. btw, the wires had about 50k on them at that point.
If you press gas peddle slowly (slowly open throttle) will rpm go up?
Do you have any CEL?
I think when you press gas - air goes to intake and ECU don't know about it, that's why your engine is slowing down. Check throttle position sensor and MAF/MAP sensor. Try disconnect them (first one, see if there are any differences, then plug it back and disconnect another, check if there are differences in engine work). Also check if there CEL will apear.
Does your engine vibrating/shaking when that happens? (like working on 3 or 2 cylinders?)

i will try to check my car again this afternoon, and I will let you guys know how reasult the test.
My car had a CEL, but I guess it was for the O2 sensor. today when i was driving it, i had no CEL, untill my car was to doing that weird thing my CEL turned on. I dont know if turned on because the o2 sensor was not the problem or because turned on of the failure of this.
But i will test this afternoon...
BTW about the wires, the problem is that I have no much money to buy the wires, so i hope no I will have to buy the stock ones. 02.gif

I have a set of stock wires with about 25k miles on them. You pay for shipping and you can have them.
-Edit-
BTW there was nothing wrong with them when I took them off the car. I just wanted to replace them. No crimps or wear spots at all.

My MAF sensor has like it is since a lot of time ago. I dont know the MAF is the problem. Id ont even touch it.
I write about the CEL in my last post.
I will try to do that you said, maybe some bad conection is somewhere.
No, my engine does not shaking its just not acelerate at all and start to down the rpms. Its like has no fuel, but it has. lol
Also other thing that I forgot to mention, its that sometimes when I press the gas pedal I hear in my exhaust something like detonation..
I can“t use paypal, it says that they dont have deals here.
OK.. I test my car again after reset the ECU, check plugs and battery which is what I could checked. and After driving a little while my car start to do the same and my CEL turn on.
which is next, is replace the fuel filter, and I going to clean the MAF, can I clean it with a contact cleaner? I read somewhere here, that I can clean like this, BUT to be sure I ask first.
and I going to check the spark plugs.
thanks!

definatly check the plugs.. I bet you will find them "wet" and "oily" from unburn fuel. Unfortunatly with a cat equipped car, it is hard to see how rich your car is running by looking at the exhaust.
Hmmm.. another problem. You could have a dead cat. If it allows enough flow to allow the car to idle, but is clogged enough to restrict flow at anything over an idle, the car will have NO power and quickly die when you try and give it gas. I would get a friend to start your car while you stand near your exhaust pipe. Listen closely at idle and then again when your friend goes to rev it. Who knows, maybe something crawled up into your exhaust and died?

it really sound like a fuel problem, but i don knot where start to looking, because I change my o2 sensor for the used one, and I try to drive and nothing was wrong with my car. but tomorrow I will drive with that sensor and see what happen.
could be possible that the new o2 sensor has the wires change with the engine harness?.. could be this possible that I will have to check that and put in the order that it has to be?
thanks
