Like the title says, my car has been dying/or almost dying whenever I am coming to a stop(It seems as if it only does it mainly when it's a uphill/downhill incline, it doesn't do it until I get almost to a stop, and it has only actually died once. But came very close many times.

Any suggestions???

It is an automatic.

It has the Dae Sung TPS (Kefico ordered, and on its way).

Been many years since plugs and wires (PRD wires and NGK V-power plugs on there way).

Another note is that the power the car has right now when driving seems restricted to me, almost like the E-brake is applied and it's holding me back. I can tell it's in the engine though.

I was going with the problem is the gimpy TPS, or maybe something to do with the cat(I've heard before, and searched it, that a clogged cat can restrict power) but I don't know much...Thanks, and any help greatly appreciated.

what i think in order: alternator, check battery terminals, TPS, plugs or wires.

let us know how those wires and plugs do. that's why i like the new hyundais, C.O.P., no wires yessssssssss i hate wires!

is it throwing any codes, if so please post it up here. it would also be handy to have a code reader. they don't cost much these days.

Well, the alternator is the original, i suppose that could be a possibility. The battery terminals are good, tight/no corrosion or nothing.

I should have the plugs/wires and TPS on by the end of the week.

It's got a CEL but I would assume that it is from the exhaust being split in two at the flex pipe.

Will Autozone be able to do the CEL thing for our tibs?, I know that I took my car to a local auto shop once, and they hooked it up to see what a CEL was, and it showed that it was a transmission solenoid, when I took it to the dealer, they said it was the fuel purge valve or something.....If Autozone was using the same reader as that shop, it wouldn't help me much.

Read the code. I've never seen this car have severe problems without a code, except when the battery is missing or out of the car.

Autzone got the right thing to do it? Or Advance Auto, or any of the others?

As usual, yes.

The TPS can for sure do what you describe.

The TPS is what I was leaning towards...We'll see.

Seperate coil for each cylinder. And HKC, a COP setup is on the way for us. Just need to finish a couple things measurement wise and Ill release it.

Report back with the new plugs and wires along with the new TPS.

A little update until I do the plugs, wires and TPS.

The CEL was for the O2 (P0136, i think?)....Wouldn't that be from my exhaust being split in two at the flex pipe?
