MAP or MAFS REinstallation
Hi,
I purchased my car second hand and found out that the intake have already been replaced by a free-flow...
However, it doesnt have the MAP sensor on the tube so I searched for it and found...
I drilled a new hole and installed the sensor...
Before, the car used to start after 3-5 seconds after keying the ignition but now it's almost instant...
Anyway, anybody of you guys have experienced the effects of having the sensor and not having it?
I'm not even sure if the sensor is correct, given that I only saw two shiny small metals with a hole in it...
I should have taken the pic of it...

You have to have had the MAF on there, the car would run so horrible without it that you wouldn't be able to drive.
Give us some estimates of the size of the sensor you are talking about.
