MAF to MAP Red, Random anyone
Does anyone know of a kit or way to convert our MAF sensors to MAP sensors. I have Plans for my Red little shark and one of those is a conversion.
In the far future I will be using a Haltek E6K so If have to wait thats ok but it does not come with the sensor I was wondering If I could (borrow a word from the brits) Bodge it together. Thanx

DO you have a 2003 Tibby GT 4 cyl??? Is this the car you want to do the MAF to MAP?? If so the 2003 GT is already a MAP. No conversion needed. smile.gif If this is an older beta engine then the conversion would require a new beta's IM and ECU along with the MAP sensor that is I already believe is a part of that haltec ECU Upgrade. I am sure random will correct me if I am wrong about the haltec. But the conversion will definately involve a new ECU and the IM.

The Halteck EK6 does have a map sensor option. Its about $80 to $120 more for a 3 bar MAP sensor. Go that way rather than trying to "bodge" it together.
