Default Lifter Probs BIG TIME!

Hey guys/gals,
I got some bad news today that my lifters collapsed. I know i know...probably my fault...but $hit happens. Anyways, moving on, I need to get some new lifters. I know that every parts store I have talked to here in Illinois has said "Are you kidding...DEALERSHIP!" But I was just wondering if A) I can fix collapsed lifters or cool.gif If I can avoid the major costs of Dealership parts. Any ideas are big time welcome. Cuz life without my tibby is lonely. Thanks all.

All of the lifters collapsed? That's odd.

I dont think all of them did. I popped the valve cover off and they're definately clickin' loud. But at low rpm's it only sounds like only a few are loud. The higher I go rpm wise, the more it sounds like more than a few are loud. I just wanna replace the things and be done with it or something soon, cuz it's summer and I gotta drive my wife's damn Saturn SL2 4 door. It's killin' me.LOL

I am starting to think mine may be going soon.

When I do a high rpm shift liek at 6k. They begin ticking, but they do quiet down afterward.
I suppose it could be just the lack of oil from the accel.

Try www.stcharlesauto.com ... they sell Hyundai parts at discounted from MSRP.

Denisst,
I got the stock cams in there. All of this happened when i had almost $1000 to put into aftermarket parts and then this $hit hit the fan. Oh well...live & learn. I'm gonna try this stcharlesauto.com
