Anyone know where i have to install these bushings on my RD1?
I got them delivered today : the KJB Delrin shifter Bushings and the Base shifter Bushings,
the base bushings I have already installed with no problems ( I hope I am not completely a moron ) but I dont know where to install these Shifter Bushings.

Thanks for all the future answers

they go in the engine bay. Go to KJB's website and you will se a pic of were they go. They go were the shifter cables hook up to, right ontop of the tranny. You will have to make some space by takeing the intake off and such cause it's all cramped.

Just take off the cotter pin and pop the old ones off (if i remember correctly these are rubber with a little metal ring in the center) and put those new ones, place cotter pin back on and enjoy.

Hope i helped any, if not i'll go snap a pic and show were they are.

Lol, Socks i know were they go from the pic of KJB's website, but if people here are not familiar with their engine bay why not lend a hand when you can, right? Besides, not much people here have installed turbos and such, so it's all cool with me if i can lend a hand, and thanks for your productive comments. fing02.gif

Thanks LNHeart for the pics.

With them it was easy find the place.
I got a question did your bushings fit in all the way?
because I cant seem to fit them all the way into the ring.

I just saw your replay and hopefully you already got it all together now.

At first i couldnt get them together snug but i got some pliers and cramped them together and they were ok.

Wow, so those shifter BASE bushings fit too?

I'm buying a set.

I just installed those bushings and i think it's great. However, it's now impossible to use my first speed. Before installing those, it was kinda hard to shift in first but now it just wont go in!

Anyone has an idea what it might be?
