I did a search but couldn't find a straight answer on this. I'm getting ready to install new HLA's in my tib and i thought i remember reading that i should let them soak before install. Ummm soak in what? and for how long? Checked HMAservice and it says nothing about it.

oil? Same thing you would do before a cam install, so its lubricated when you turn the motor over and it goes in easier.

Can't think of any reason for ATF, course I've never replaced HLA, most of my other cars are solid lifter.
