Got my 4-1 headers (from GB) installed today. had to buy a NEW Air Sensor..due to the two different metals and the threrds were "warped" and not able to be reused. Sound NICE now. But a little like a Honda...whiney wise when i punch it. What can I do to "fix" this? Should I either get the Apexi slicencer or get a glass pack? Any time I hit 3200-3500 the way too high pitched "noise" starts. Sounds NICE but kinda ricey. Noticed a little increase in performance. But currently I have a shrt ram "cold" air intaker installed..so that is killing me. I'll have my 3" ALL chrome piping this friday...enough to complete my ENTIRE CAI. I'll snap some pic's when I can. Also, I'll make a either .wav or movie to show the "noise".

But al and all, im happy with the purchase. If I need a glasspack...please post some url's, prices..and such. Oh, and i'll need a 2.5" glass pack..if that help in any replies.

yeah i need a 2.5 glass pack also i was told that you should get a perforatde core glass pack.

 

so are the headers the right ones? did you measure your stock header to see if there is a size increase?

 

There was an increase in HP....these headers are different from stock. As far as size wise..not certain. Just hope they are the PEAK performace 4-1 headers that we ordered. they do work and no CEL. so for now im more thAn happy with the HP increase..I can tell a difference around the 3k range...but mostly around the 4200-5k range. Hope this helps. And STILL hope to hear from SAM about these headers...

 

yeah, I hope we didn't get the accent headers. That would suck. But think about it this way, if your seeing a increase in performance now, wait till you get headers that are 2.5" smile.gif bwahahaahahahahah wink.gif

 

I hope they would be sent to me and then I can swap out from the 4-1 currently installed...As I CAN NOT go back to the stock header now....
