Alright guys, so i just got back from my local exhaust shop.

They took a look at my car to see where i could put a glasspack to get rid of the buzz i will get when i get my obx headers.

And they said i already a glasspack installed after the resinator.

You that put a glasspack in, did you just remove the old and put a new in? Or, is my car not normal?

And i was taking a look at where the flex switches into the cat, and there is no flange there.

How am i supposed to install my headers?

ugh

ok

header to midpipe to cat to resinator(glasspack) to a few feet of pipe to muffler

in order to keep a cat on the car with the obx header you have to buy another one and install it

when you remove the exhaust manifold you loose the cat with it

your car has i believe 2 resonators on it and like a 200 lbs of muffler(its more like 50 but its close none the less)

some cars have 2 cats on them

best bet would be to custom make yourself a entire new exhaust or it will buzz more with a header attached to the stock set

Okay not to be rude but I can barely understand what your trying to say man tongue.gif Spaek Egnlish

Anyways. What exhaust do you have? If it came with your care maybe the guy added a glasspack it but I doubt it's very long since there is still room for a resonator. If you got a stock exhaust you have 2 small resonators. If you got the motoria you only have one resonator which will be removed once you add a 28" thrush glasspack.

Your cat might of been replaced and they couldn't get the bolts off from the headers to the cat because of the rust so they might of cut it and welded it.

Show us some pics man.

my exhaust is completely stock that i know of. I have done nothing. Maybe other owners have.

It goes |header, flex, cat, resinator, glasspack, few feet of pipe, then muffler|

By the sounds of it,my car is completely messed up, do not have the cash for a whole exhaust set up right now, so i just got OBX Headers.

Can i get rid of the resinator+glasspack and put a new glasspack in?

*i have no idea on this exhaust stuff*

I will go see if i can get some pictures.

edit: hurry tanc ur slow tongue.gif

This is what I would suggest.

You save up for an exhaust first. These are my reasons why :

-Much better gain
-You will need to mod your stock shitty exhaust with new headers which will cost $$ and for what? If you buy a cat and a glasspack your going to need to buy new ones with a new exhaust because of the bigger piping tongue.gif So you watste your money on a cat and glasspack.
- Adding headers to a stock setup ..esspecialy obs = 1-2 whp with stock exhaust lol. Heres a break down. Header = 200shipped + cat = 50 shipped + glasspack = 35 shipped + shop to install weld flanges and shit together = 100bux.

all together around $385 just to add a header to your stock exhaust and loose the buzz. You think its worth it???? lol

Adding a glasspack

http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.a...k=KeywordSearch

21.88 + shipping.

It's the one I got on my motoria and you wont need to replace a glasspack once you buy a performance exhaust. tongue.gif So you save about 185bux in the long run if you go with an exhaust first

Well.... this helps alot.

I got a sonata exhaust!!!!!!!!! LOL!!!!

I just got back from the place, we did some researching and the idiots threw a sonata exhaust on my car, how great is that.

So i am going to have them build me a cat back exhaust with a glasspack.

I do not have any flanges, it is all welded or clamped together. Awesome!!!

Pics below

The thing I have with custom exhausts around my area is that I don't trust anyone to do it.

They over price.
They lie about if its stainless
They lie about it being manderl bent.
And there welds I don't trust.

My exhaust was 340 Shipped.

If you go custome make sure you have at the beginging of the ehaust the same flange you'll have on the highflow cat.
