I hope I don't have an engine problem
Ok everyone I need some help, me and my buddy were at a stop light tonight. He was behind me and I took off left off the throttle a little bit before shifting to second then got back into it. When it shifted to second I looked in my mirror and there was a cloud of smoke, he said it was a grayish black color. I don't have a CEL on, I know it does go through some oil, my fuel mileage is still up where it normally is. Is this maybe Injector going south on me or what could it be? Any help would be very appreciated, thanks everyone.

If it happens after sitting at a light and you leave a smoke ball, its valve seals. It it happens upon accelerating it rings, if you can make it to 6k with no smoke but left off and decelerate while in gear and it smokes its oil rings.
First off being an 02 when was your last oil change and have you every changed thed PCV valve? A bad PCV. Valve can cause blow buy and oil consumption!

it could be 3 things..
faulty O2 sensor. (causing rapid Over fueling when car add Aceel Enrichment to stop you bogging down)
Oil in breathers. (clean them)
Leave car for 2 days with Oil cap off.
Start it without Reving (Any bluey/black smoke its valve seals)
my parents valves seals went after 42,000 Miles on there accent (All City)

If there are a lot of miles on the car it may also be carbon packed behind the piston rings. Auto-RX will clean that and rejuvenate the valve seals. The stuff works great but takes quite a few miles before you see any change.

There is no way an additive does any/all that. The best way to prevent problems is to change the oil in your car regularly. If your car is burning/leaking oil the only thing that will repair that is engine re-build.
