Check for wires touching other things. I would not attribute fuse blowing to loose grounding. It's kinda a long shot. You would be spending your time better by replacing the fuse then performing percussive troubleshooting in a dark area, looking for sparks. Check for water in your ECU fuse box and pinching.
Look for coincidences, if it happens when you turn something on,or if it happens when you turn the car a certain way, it may help troubleshooting
Pull off wire looms. Check for anything loose that has an electrical connection.
Make sure you aren't running too high of a load on the ECU fuse. If you've added additional electronics, it may have caused problems with excessive current running through the fuse. Try disconnecting extra electronics you may have spliced into the 12V ECU line or others near the ECU.

at first it happened during turning but it seems more like it's any real vibration like a rough road will do it. At first it was only every few days but now it's every few miles. I'll try tommarow to look into the looms but nothing seems out of the ordinary
I do have large stereo but it's all indepently wired to a spare battery and the I just connected the positive wire with a fuse. But really what I don't get it how I can trouble shoot in dark place because the car has to be on and driving for it to blow, it's fine just sitting still. now my fuse box is cracked but that happened after this issue started. I don't wanna ride the bus to work I need help asap

On my first RD I had a wire rubbing through right under the column where the tilt stuff is. I would check there maybe, pop the plastic pieces off and see if you can track it down. Does it blow right when you turn the key on or what?

optimo, that's the idea behind using percussive techniques. You need to simulate driving conditions. then start messing with the wires under the dash and steering coloumn.

It tends to happen in turns or over rough road the most. I'm not sure about the techniuqe your talking about dtn can u explain a oil more I've not heard of that before. I have tommarow off so I'm gonna try to figure it out. Sounds like I will start under the dash and around the column looking for crushed/ exposed/ damaged wiring

Sure, Percussive maintenance... Percussive meaining to strike in a manner similar to a percussive instrument, like a drum. Maintenance meaning to repair or maintain a piece of equipment. Usually this involves striking something to get it to work temporarily like Televisions and VCRs.... But, it can also be an effective technique to solve eletrical problems.
Jiggle things around until you see sparks. If it dosn't work, start banging on things. If that dosn't work, get a hammer. If a hammer dosn't work, get a bigger hammer. It's a quick way to find the fault. Make sure you use the proper fuse and replace it when it blows. Of course there is a minimal risk as long as you're watching what you're doing. When a fuse blows, you should be able to see a spark from the ground contact. If that dosn't work, then use another technique.
Place a multimeter set on ohms from the ECU fuse to ground and then get under the dash and start wiggling/smacking wires until the multimeter jumps. Have a friend watch the multimeter. Then you will know where the problem is.

I'll give that a try thanks, after looking at the wiring diagram it shows that fuse directly wired to the fuel pump relay on the inside fuse box. So it looks like under the dash will be the first place to look. if that relay is still good I'll try DTN's percussive technique. Hopefully I can figure this out tommarow so the whole weekend isn't down the drain.

no luck with the relay or percussive technique. I found some loose wires but that wasn't what was wrong. I pulled the whole fuse box out and shone it while the car was on. then I went inside and moved wires around still nothing. Any more ideas guys? When girls ask what I drive I tell em COTA bus. They don't think it's funny
