heres the deal,
went ot dealer yester day for scheduled maintenance.

said everything perfect but coil was craked

they replaced coil

this morning i start car, all it does is TRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

nothing feels like starting. what could it be? where is this coil?

and u know what? they left accidently a pair of big plyers close to battery/fuse box/air cleaner... i dont know if this has to do... if you have any ideas guys, would be appreciated... (if nothing comes up ill go to dealership on monday they will fix it at their expense), but maybe its something small like battery discharged i dont know... dont feel like being stuck here for another 2 days without my car...

thanks

Default HELP!

Try to jump it once.

What you are explaining sounds like a run down battery to me.

Might wanna check your dome lights and see if they are bright or dim.

the pliers left under the hood are no big deal..... consider it a gift to you from the dealer. i do it all the time at work 02.gif

if the "trrrrrrrrrrrrrr" represensents the T cranking and the r's tryin to turn over...then i'd say it is a battery problem, and just merely coincidence that it happened the day after your service at the dealer.

this gives you a great opportunity to get an Optima spiral-cell battery. I'd go blue top, but they've also got yellow and red top batteries too

I'd tighten the connection on the terminals and jump it and see if it helps. See if they tightened the battery terminals. They left the trunk open on my tib when they replaced my transmission (of course it killed the battery)... my car has a nasty habit of that, you have to make sure the trunk closes... anyways they never even told me. I only knew because when I went to pick it up, I watched them and saw them have to jump it off, and I noticed the trunk wasn't fully closed (trunk light would remain on, draining the battery). They never told me THEY had to jump it :-/

Get the Optima series mang, best batteries out there.

The Blue top is what I have, it's awesome, only thing is the Red and Yellow can fit Battery Toppers, the blue can't.
