header question

hey, i am going to get 421 headers for my 2000 auto tib. the question is can i install it myself or sould i have it done professionally? did anyone install the headers themselves and how long did it take. do you have to remove the front cat or the back one. any info is great!!! :D

You cannot install header yourself unless you have exhaust welding tool. You can re-use 2nd cat or replace it with high performance one. You have to remove first cat though.

You also need to extend 2nd sensor cable, plus you have to drill holes on the exhaust, weld an sensor adapter in order to put second sensor after the second cat.

When SR sends the Headers to you does it include an instructions manual?

No documentation, because none is needed. Anybody that knows the first thing about welding pipe can figure out how to install them, and welding is required so that pretty much precludes the non-welder amateurs(including me wink )
