header installation question
Well, with the SR 4-2-1 header, I had to unbolt the bracket for the p/s and pull it out slightly to get that thick flange on there. One piece 4-2-1 header, huh? If it is the piping all the way down under the motor, yeah, you are gonna need to get underneath, but you will have to jack your car WAY up to get a single piece unit under there and then in the correct orientation to put them on. Do you have a pic of the aformentioned header? Post it or a link and I can probably help you a little more.
Oh yeah, some of those bolts are a beotch to get off. Have some penetrating spray around to loosen things up first. My car was less than one year old and even the impact gun hooked to the 5.5 hp compressor wouldn't budge them. The spray made it so I could do it with a regular 3/8 drive socket wrench. Any questions, feel free to PM me.

I was able to get my SR 4-2-1 on without taking anything off but the old manifold. Took some jiggling and jangling, but slid it through no problem.
I saw viper966's one piece headers, and i don't think he would have that problem at all. the flange on his matches the one from the stock manifold exactly (ie a small cut-out) so it should slide in no prob. there. Getting it into position will be tough with it all being one piece though.
If you can get it about a foot off the ground, you should be able to slip the headers under the car sideways and straighten them up when you get to where the space is from the old manifold.
