Head Porting DIY

I don't remeber if anyone has posted this site, but I thought someone might be interested in reading how its done. I know it's something left for pro's, but they make it seem simple enough. j/k tongue.gif

Yes, it has been posted before.

Their "advice" on how to port an engine is contradicted by every book I have read on the subject. Even after reading 3-4 books on the subject, I would still not tackle it myself.

Head porting is as much "art form" as it is "science". What flow benches best isn't always what performs best. There is a learning curve to porting. If you want to learn on your engine, and more than likely do it wrong, that's up t you. Otherwise, I strongly suggest it be left up to professionals.

yeah, my posting was sarcastic. I thought it was funny how easy they make it seem. I have no intention of trying to port anything myself! wink
