Or do you guys keep the same exhaust on for as long as you can? I know some people who change mufflers and exhaust components every year so they have a different sound and look. Seems to much work to me. If I like how mine sounds, I'll leave it until it falls off or breaks.

I've had a few different exhausts. Besides stock my first one was only 2.5" in diameter and then I changed it to a full 3". I went from having quad tips to just a single to back having quad tips and a better axleback.

Not that often. Went from stock to 1.8 semi header + 2nd cat removed + Tib muffler.
I recently upgraded to a 2.5 stainless exhaust with a 36" glasspack for a resonator and a turbo muffler. It doesn't sound bad. There's a slight rasp @ 3000 sometimes when it's cold.

Man I know it, but the silly thing just won't break! If someone wanted to give me a decent after-cat, I'd be happy to use it, but funds are tight enough I can't justify replacing a working pipe with . . . a working pipe. Theoretically in 4 years all our non-mortgage debt will be extinguished and then it'll be like $2k extra per month unspoken-for. MAYBE we'll see what happens then.
