Default Fast question about battery relocation

When you guys relocated your battery to the back of the car, what did you use to hold the battery in place so it wasnt moving all around?

most battery boxes come with some type of mounting system.. otherwise, you can use a simple strap type system with elastic cords, rope, etc.

The box Visionz posted works well for lead acid batterys, just drill two holes through the box and through the trunk and bolt it down. If you have a sealed battery like an Optima, I used just a simple tray from Autozone with the same holes drilled for mounting. Here is a pick of what the tray looks like.

I would strongly suggest against using simply elastic cords and rope, it won't pass tech at drag strips and scca events, plus it's so cheap to just do it right and you won't have to worry about your battery flopping around your trunk.
