What type of paint do you use for that? Is that the same type as the engine paint - can you use that on plastic?

 

Use anything that is high temperature heat paint. Duplicolor make some nice anodized colors in blue, red, silver and yellow.

 

Should it also be clear coated? Do they make a clear coat? What do you guys think, I have a deep purple tib and I mixed on what color to run under the engine? Im thinking blue to be different but with a purple car im thinking that no color is gonna look that good? Gimme some suggestion on colors to run.

 

Purple and yellow is a nice color combination, Cyber Greg did a similar color scheme, yellow tib with purple dash.

 

Do you know of any engine hose kits and stuff for a Tib that are yellow?

 

You can get some wire loom in yellow from Summit or JC Whitney. I think the brand is Taylor. There are like four different sizes in the pack so you should have plenty to do whatever you want.

 

Silver yo. Silver. That way it'd match a plain silver hose cover kit, the silver accents inside the car, and any chromed or silver things you put on later, like BMW Z3 marker lamps in your trunk.

Nice looking engine bay jaws!! eek! Maybe you should think about painting the little heat shield over the exhaust manifold too?

 

the exhaust manifold is going to get replaced with headers next year anyways.
