So, we have variable valve timing...ok...now they are coming out with variable compression engines?
Interesting concept but I think this will be like rotary engines. Only a select few models of car will ever run them. I can't imagine trying to do a timing chain on one of these or rebuilding one say in 15 to 20 years.

Saab actually pioneered the variable compression engine many years ago.
