Engine Dress Up Ideas

So for this year, I really want to spend some time on my engine and dressing it up for 2 car shows I have already registered for. I have been lacking in the engine department for awhile and I think it's time I give it some TLC to make it look as good as the rest of the car. It's clean since I detail it but it just looks plain and all black. My car is red so I was thinking maybe some red hoses or something? I dont know. What have you guys done to your engines to make them look more show worthy?

A polished turbo housing and tubular manifold would win a ton of points.

Why don't you post pics of what you've got?

Replace your bolts with dress up bolts

Replace hoses with silicon hoses or split loom

Paint or hydro dip parts in your bay

Polish the intake manifold to a chrome like shine or find an Air Ram

Delete everything, wiretuck. Clean the hell out of everything. Less is more. Imo

Not sure how the judges feel about that. For all I know they give you bonus points for using over 75 feet of red wire loom...
