Engine cranks but wont start, slowly loosing vitals.

Wanting to know if any one else has done an engine rebuild and gotten to initial start and it runs good, then something slowly offs every major system for the car to run. Fuel pump, injectors, coil pack. I have done all of the basic things to fix it. Nothing won't off at the same time, it all went one step at a time.

Check the alternator output. Is it over 14.5 Volts? Also, check all of your chassis grounds.

"Engine cranks but won't start" is the classic symptom of a bad crankshaft position sensor. First, clean the sensor and its hole, and have a peek at the teeth inside the hole, to see if they look okay (which they probably will). Re-mount the sensor and see if it will start; sometimes it's that easy. If it has a check engine code for the sensor, replace the sensor. Otherwise, test it if you can but they're not (that) expensive to replace and sometimes fail intermittently.

The car is old, and parts will be failing. It sucks if they fail one after the other, but they should be good to go after replacement for several more years.
