if your just replace your stock injectors, your going to be running rich as hell, and probably burn-out your cat and cause unknown hell with your engine.

The only way you'd want upgraded injectors is if you were doing SC/Turbo/bigNOS and then you'd have a replacement ECU.

if your running N/A you'll need a S-AFC to lean out your spray so that you won't run rich.

the stock injectors are more then adequete for all N/A needs to N/A+NOS needs.

if i'm correct, the tibby runs pig rich all the time(especially at high-rpm) so running EXTRA fuel at highrpm won't help any. thats why when you tune a s-afc with a fully N/A setup, you have to lean your engine out to gain HP, not increase fuel.

Not gonna happen. Different style injectors, different resistance injectors as well.

The Eclipse injectors run at 3-4ohms. Ours run at 16 ohms. Plug em in and you'll fry your ECM.

Have fun.

if I plan to finish getting all the bolt ons for a 2001 tibby and plan on re-doing the internals and I am currently running a 55 shot of ZEX, I don't need to replace the injectors for this?.....Wil i see a good change if I get a S/AFC from APEX if it is tuned right?....will that just be to "fine tune" and get it to idle properly or what?...thanks!

no with heavy bolt-ons and some internal work with a 55shot or even 75 shot, you still can use stock injectors.

the s-afc gets the most out of your mods. you can see around a 8whp gain from tuning the s-afc.

you need 16-ohm, saturated injectors. rc engineering sells them. get ball/disc, not pintle type injectors.
