If there is anyone here who had one custom made, about how much did it cost you from your muffler shop? Im just trying to figure out how much i need before i stop by the shop here. I have headers, high flow cat, resonator, and a muffler sittng here. Just waiting on my next paycheck and hopefully i'll have enough to get it done. thanks

The answer to this will all depend on the quality of work you want done , Single or dual , stainless or non stainless , welded or clamped. I would go with full stainless 2 1/4 2.5 " fully welded. I had my dual exhaust setup done in full stainless , welded , +header install with high flow cat , resonator , and flowmaster muffler , fabricated and installed for $700.00 that includes all parts and fabrication of the dual exhaust to fit the Cuda kit

haha i've been making several trips to the ol muffler shop. i have been doing my setup in pieces really. With mine i first went and got a Magnaflow race muffler put on my car (sound was incredible).... then just yesterday i went and had my headers put on.... this was somewhat of an ordeal because with the SSAutochrome headers, they dont make them quite right and some modification was needed to give proper length and stuff, but after we put these on there was an extremely loud buzzing sound so we put a HUGE resonator on it and quieted it down a bit... next i may get a magnaflow high flow cat and put it in there somewhere. but overall i've probably spent 150 at the shop... another 300 for parts.

i have about $325 in mine, that includes 2 1/2 aluminized pipe & the $300 borla muffler but i bent & welded all the pipe myself at my shop. the pipe is very cheap but the machine that bends is is very costly
