Couple of questions....
Tibbon,
go to pep boys or autozone, etc and they will have a book that says what fits where. It will be near the oil and filters. Bunch of drain plugs with different numbers on them.
If there's no book to tell you which one you need, ask at the parts desk, and they can look it up.
If you still have trouble, let me know and I'll get out the calipers and thread gauge and give it a look.

Curtas, you are supposed to PULL on wrenches man!
hopefully someone who has been changing their own oil will know to let it run and check for leaks before driving home!
The 30k maint. is also supposed to include servicing the trans. fluid and checking the timing belt.
The oil filter is in sortof a PITA location over the front plastic shield. You'll prolly drip oil on the plastic the first time, so spread some rags; the angle your arm needs to be at is funky.
FRAM FILTERS ARE GARBAGE!!!!
I'd have to take off my shoes to count the number of testimonials of people who noticed better running, driveability and reduced engine noise (including ticking top-end noise in BETA applications). FRAM uses cardboard endcaps on their filters and if you have one of those let go...not that they usually do... The FRAM filter is SMALLER than the OEM filter. Smaller = less filtration media = shorter time to a clogged filter AND too much pressure drop across the filter. Just go to the dealership. They'll even toss in a drain plug gasket for another buck or so. If you're spending $25 on Mobil1 Tri-synthetic like you should be, why not make it an even thirty and know that HMC thinks your filter is good enough to be on their cars. (No, not saying it's a warranty issue before anybody asks)
Fram = garbage. Purolator, Wix, Mobil are all good filters.

I would reccomend the K&N oil filter. #1004 for the tibby. It is about twice the size of the stock unit.
If your dealer is cool, and they don't want to charge you and arm and a leg for service, let them do it. If they are jerks and want $299 for the 25K check, tell them to stick a baseball bat in their favorite orafice.
The CEL will NOT come on if you do not take it in for the 25K service.
