Default Chev V6 engine pics (2.0)

Here are some more pics of my V6 motor. Again, pics are big due to lack of editing software at mu uncle's house. Without further ado...

Here is the engine on a slant. I drained the oil this way... onto the floor!

This is one of the heads, that are gonna get acid dipped... TODAY!

Again, a pic of the head, and why it needs cleaning

Removed heads on the floor...

Look at the SIZE (and amount of rust LOL) of this!

Just a bit of dirt in the cylinders, but there are NO scratches on the walls ANYWHERE and you can still see the hone pattern!

I love how an engine sitting for 10 years has such CLEAN walls! So reflective...

Umm..how much did you pay for that thing? Hope it wasn't much. *lol*

Seriously though, when you're all finished and done with, your car is going to be pretty quick. Although having a Korean body with an American engine is kind of strange. Would you still consider your car an import then?

Did you budget extra for unforseen circumstances? You should think about it man, may be some unforseen circumstances lurking in there.

Jed, this might actually give me a good reason to take a summer trip to Canada next summer.

Last I heard, southern Ontario makes more cars than any other region in North America. Civics, the vibe/matrix, a whole bunch of different minivans, chrysler cars, a couple of truck plants, because of NAFTA stuff manufactured in Canada can count as a domestic manufactured vehicle in the states. wink
