OK, so my friend and i were changing my oil and stuff and we got that all good, started the engine, everything sounded fine and stuff. Then we were thinking of a way to keep my intake from moving around due to the loss of the bolt thinger. So we figure out a way but its rubbing on the tire so we move it all back and then start it up, and it sounds weird. Went for a drive and throttle response is slower and it sounds like it sucking in air through someones ass. Any ideas on what happend? Hes coming back over in 20 minutes to look at it with me, since he knows more about cars.

Does the idle seem weird? Big loss of power? Maybe the same problem I had yesterday.Plug wire went bad, which caused a nasty miss.

Ohhhh.................Also make sure the MAF is plugged in all the way.

Yeah, it kinda sticks out of the intake pipe and has wires connected to it.

Okay, and make sure there are no obstructions with the intake. Also, make sure the air temp sensor is in place correctly. If all that looks good,I could walk you thru checking the plug wires.

That's true, the MAF could be blown.Since they were play'n with the intake when the problem started. But,bad plug wires will fail suddenly with little to no warning.

Probably be best to make damn sure the MAF and everything dealing with the intake is in order, first of all.
