Carburated?
 

I called a junk yeard today looking for a 2.0L beta. One said they had an 88 2.0L and another said they had a 1.8L Carburated. As far as I knew all of the beta engines were EFI. Maybe the guy was mistaken and meant 1.5???? Anyway this sounded a little odd as well as the 88 2.0L didnt think it has been around that long. Anyway, can anyone confirm this. Also I was thinking maybe the 1.8L Carb was from a Scoupe 1.8T (turbo) ?

the earliest beta available is from a 96 elantra everything earlier is not a beta, all betas are EFI
