The 1.8 exhaust cam is what is now deemed "best" for a 2k 2.0 tiburon besides SR/RPW cams right? Do I just order the 1.8 exhaust cam? or intake too? And where do I order them from? Can I install these myself and how hard is it? (I did short shifter/Random special myself, how much harder is this? Also if going turbo, is this wasted money? (i.e. does it have more overlap, would it be bad for turbo?) Thanks.

Most people say that the 1.8 is the best. Try to contact a dealer, find a 1.8 in a junkyard, look on the internet. You don't need the intake cam, the one in the 2.0 beta is the best intake cam. You can install it yourself, it is very easy. If I get time, I will do a writeup on installing an exhaust cam. It isn't really a bad thing to have with going turbo, and not hard to swap back to the original. You can then sell it to someone.

There was a discussion covering this before (see link). From what I understand it is the inlet cam, not the exhaust, that is changed.

Oops, yeah, you need the intake cam, not the exhaust cam. The intake cam is the one that only has the sprocket, the exhaust cam has the sprocket and the cam gear is also attached. It really is an easy job swapping the cams, it took me about 30 minutes. If you read my previous post, just switch the words intake and exhaust and it will be correct.

It is an easy swap and almost goof proof... just be careful when torquing down the cam holders. 9 Pounds of torque is all they take. My wrench malfunctioned or something on the middle one and the moment I thought "this has to be too tight" it snapped.
