The tiburon has a phunky system.

The timing belt runs a belt that runs the exhaust cam only. Then there is a set of sprockets and a chain at the other end. The exhaust cam then drives the intake cam via that chain and sprockets.

Needless to say, any adjustable cam gear would only advance and retard the intake and exhaust cam together. You would need adjustable chain sprockets to adjust the intake cam. You would also have to remove the valve cover every time you needed to make an adjustment, or to play with the settings to tune it on a dyno. MAJOR PITA.

There are companies that make and adjustable cam gear...and there are cams with adjustable chain driven sprockets from korea, however, their high cost, and limited adjustability and HP gain, makes them basically worthless/useless for the cost.

HDKAutosport sells an Adjustable Cam Sprockets. Will this work well with the Tiburon?

Again, they do NOT work on the tiburon. The beta motor only has ONE GEAR. So you would be ajusting the intake and exhaust cam together. This is counter productive, and you usually advance the intake cam and retard the exhaust cam. In order to adjust them each seperately, you would have to buy a special intake or exhaust cam with an adjustable chain driven sprocket.
