Default bought SAFC . . . will it work?

I made the mistake of buying an SAFC from some guy via an email conversation, now I need to know if this bad deal is still doable. Here's the situation. I got the unit and wiring only, no manual (thankfully I found it online) no mounting bracket, and I'm not sure that the wiring is still workable. It looks like the guy just ripped it out of his car and mailed it. Here's some pics to illustrate my point:

That's everything I got right there. Do I have enough to make it work properly (after dyno tuning and such)?

thanks,

I would be weary of that SAFC, it looks like it was jacked from a car

How does it feel having stolen merchandise? wink

that s-afc is in good shape. i'd recommend picking up a mounting kit unlessyour going to embed it somewhere. The only thing its missing is the male and female connectors on the wires, but thats only if you want to remove the s-afc when you take it to the shop.

anyway, good luck!

If you check the pics again I see the male and female connector.

A good place to install the AFC is the sunglass holder, thats were BV1 and I put his.

what i meant was the male female connectors on the WIRES, which the yellow and white ones are missing. I wasn't talking about the "bus" male-female connectors.

I think that's part of my problem. The S-AFC ships with a mounting bracket, and I can't find any place to buy something comparable. The one idea I did have was to buy the mounting bracket for the apexi RSM (which doesn't come with a bracket and thus is available for purchase), but if I remember correctly, the RSM is significantly bigger than the S-AFC, so it might not work. Any thoughts?

the rsm and s-afc are both the same size. they just appear differnt in my pictures because one's closer to the camera then the other.

heheheeh when i saw the pic i knew where it came from. The AFC works fine... i bought it from Onpol, it came out of his friends wrecked car. i installed it, worked fine then i needed more so i bought the haltech.

the mounting bracket was messed in the wreck, thats why it wasnt included when i sold it, and the wiring... well u just need to buy 2 sets of bullett connectors and some splicers. the wiring diagram that comes with it is absolutely worthless cause its got nothing about a tiburon in it. everything you need is out here on the web. i dont make it to the forums much anymore so if you need any help, or have any questions please email me.

just rest assured that the unit works, and all you need are a few connectors ( less than a dollar @ your local electricronic store ) to make it work.

[edit]
i didnt sell it to him... just wanted to make that known

also, this may not be my old unit, but that looks exactly how i cut the wires when i pulled it out.
