Default Big Bore T/B

Does the SharkRacing Throttle Body for 2000-Up Tibs have the coolant passages for the T/B just like the OEM? And does the OEM intake rubber hose fit around it?

Don't know about the 58mm one they offer...but regarding the 60mm "Barney" one, your answers are "No" and "No"

But not in that order. wink.gif

I'm under the impression that neither TB has coolant passages... you simply connect the hose ends bypassing the TB altogether... I'm curious too... One of the SR TBs will be my next purchase.

the coolant lines actually heat up the air, they were put there to stop the valve from freezing in winter. Now trust me my BTB has the lines removed and it has yet to freeze after 2 winters.

Iago-

The stock intake ruber elbow DOES fit over the barney TB. Yamaneko has the Barney TB and he has the Stock elbow on there. It does not fit over there easily...but if you smear some oil lightly over the inside of the elbow, it slips right on.

My bad...I misunderstood the question....<SIGH> Yeah, I got mine to fit, with a little coersion and some WD-40. For some reason, I thought the question was to the effect of "will the coolant lines wrap around the outside of the throttle housing so that it keeps preventing butterfly icing?"

Just when I thought I was all smart an' stuff, with the right answers. rolleyes.gif
