well i didnt look them up myself i called in and asked someone to find it. i guess when i work on sunday i'll go in and see what it says. i work at autozone and its usually pretty on point as to what is there and isnt. but i got the gasket in my garage right now. possibly its for automatic transmission oil pan, but i doubt it. on the other hand the guy who ordered it for me is a straight jack ass so it could seriously not even be anything for my car at all.

thanx for the bolt info dennist, hey socks what bolt swap did you do? would u let me in on your secret??

Optimo, I work at AZ as well. I'll check SMS & ZNET a couple years up and down for Betas and see what's up. I'm sure you've seen how certain years don't give you the same/right info sometimes... lol

holy crap.. that means the bolts/stud need to be like 3" long.. thats nuts.. ill have to look at it when i get it.. i get the hardware free, so it wont be a big deal, but that seems REALLY long.

ill just need 4 new bolts i guess. its because the betaII pan has the built in tranny brace right? or no?

my secret to the studs is just using socket head threaded studs to put into the pan, then i just slide the pan over the studs and put the nuts on.. SO MUCH easier than trying to line up pan and put bolts in.

my studs as they are are like 25mm long, so i think those may be fine.. if not, ill just get new ones.

i know on my probe turbo's, from the factory they didnt have oil pan gaskets, just rtv. but parts stores do sell a cork oil pan gasket for the car. sad part is its too tall, and if you try to use it, the bolts for the oil pan are too short, and cant handle using a gasket.

might be the same situation with the tibby...

yup get some RTV
either permatex gray one or permatex "right stuff" those are the best easy to find RTV on the market

honda-bond. there is no comparrison for gasket maker/sealer out there. permatex is the best auto parts store crap, but not comparable to honda bond in any way. hondabond could glue a 13 inch tv to a ceilng!

yeah ill post up pics and specs when its all done.. if someone does make a oil pan gasket, im so using it lol.. i don't need to worry about length of bolts, and i can never get RTV to seal right, lol.

i always end up getting some sort of small leak, no matter how i lay out the bead.
