Audi 1.8T

is there any way to make the turbo go "Psshh" by modifying the hose to the Intercooler?

1998 audi 1.8t stock.

you could change your BOV to a XS BOV. I'm not super familiar with turbo's but its my impressions you'd just change your BOV to change the sound of your "pffffffttt"

na i meant just cheap thing....maybe take the hose off of the intercooler then just let it vent?

What no ones recomended the Turbo Wistle yet

you cant put a bov on 1.8t unless you get this conversion kit. if your looking for performance, don't get bov. if you want the noise, i was told a 1.8T with CAI will go pshhh... i don't understand why though.

thats because when the throttle plate closes it sends the extra air backwards through the inlet of the turbo (intake side) Since the stock intake is so quiet you never hear it. With the CAI cone you will be able to here the whistle of the extra air.

Ive got that whistle on my NA too. When I added my BBTB there is a certain throttle position where you can actually hear the whistle from the idle bypass hole. smile.gif I can't count how many poeple that have asked me if I got a turbo in my car because of that whistle. smile.gif
